A
launch is organized to unveil MABIC’s
new direction, logo, vision and mission.
Although MABIC has been in existence for
the past six years and has been actively
involved in creating awareness on biotechnology,
this event will be a platform where new
collaborations and partnerships can be
forged. This will be an important milestone
for MABIC as it will provide an impetus
to strive harder to promote biotechnology.
The launch is expected to be attended
by all major biotech stakeholders.
In
conjunction with this event, the Global
Status of Commercialized Biotech/GM Crops:
2006 will be launched for the first time
in Malaysia. The event will feature a
45-min presentation by Dr Clive
James, the author of this publication
on “A Global Overview of
Biotech crops; their Adoption, Impact
and Future Prospects”.
