Message from the Director

Dear Valued Subscribers

This message is coming to you from our new office at the new Monash University campus. Our location address, telephone and fax number have been changed, kindly click here for our current contact details.

Coupled with the spirit of being in a brand new office, we are proud to make a very important announcement - MABIC is publishing an international journal on public awareness of biotechnology with the support from Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO). The journal will have a special focus on OIC countries and the inaugural issue is expected to be out in December this year. The first issue will be an e-journal and we are hopeful that subsequent issues will be in hardcopies. For more information on the journal, click here. You are most welcome to submit papers for the inaugural issue.

Next week, starting from 17th till 21st June, a major biotechnology event will take place in Kuala Lumpur. Around 50 speakers from around the world will converge at the capital city to speak on various topics related to biotechnology at the Asia Pacific Conference on Tissue Culture and Agribiotechnology. Click here for the conference website. With more than 10 collaborators putting their efforts together to organize this conference, it is poised to be one of the biggest biotechnology events this year. We hope you will not miss the opportunity to meet some of these prominent speakers and a chance to network with other biotech players.

Our other events are listed on our event calendar.

Your feedback and suggestions are most welcome to improve our services.

Till we meet again, warm regards from MABIC!

Sincerely

Mahaletchumy Arujanan
Executive Director
