4th July 2008 (Friday)

Business of biology, has been practiced since time immemorial. Compared to other knowledge-based industries like electronics and information technology, the life science innovation and product development cycle has generally taken substantially longer, costlier and with higher risk. More focus being placed on intellectual property generation and management as a basis for assessing expected future value through the development of a pipeline of a new products, services, and technologies. One way to overcome this hurdle or speed up the market entry is to re-think activities that are currently practiced by conventional bio-business.
This seminar talk will be presented by Dr. Lee Chee Wee, Assoc. Prof., Department of Physiology, National University of Singapore and the Founder & CEO of Lynk Biotechnologies Pte Ltd, Singapore.
