Message from the Director

Dear Valued Subscribers

Early December was extremely busy for most of us in the biotech arena with many activities taking place simultaneously. It is our sincere hope that all these efforts will bear fruit and will pave a way for more research, development and commercialization.

Standing at the edge of 2006, this is the time when most of us sit back and evaluate the passing year and plan for the year ahead. At MABIC we are just doing that and though quite happy with what was achieved in 2006, we can also see a lot of room for improvement in the future. We hope 2007 will be filled with more activities that will be of beneficial to many stakeholders. Some of our activities are already on our event calendar and there are more to come.

There are very interesting and exciting events in the pipeline for the first quarter of 2007, so, please keep yourself informed on all our activities and we hope to have your active participation.

As usual your comments and suggestions are very valuable to us and we are constantly looking for ways to improve our services.

See you all in 2007.

MERRY CHRITSMAS to everyone!

HAPPY NEW YEAR and wishing for a year that will see biotechnology flourish in Malaysia.

Sincerely

Mahaletchumy Arujanan
Program Director
